The Canopy Program is a year-long intimate mentorship program, providing artists access to work exclusively with a Faculty Mentor and a Cohort of 10 artists for three semesters.

NYC Crit Club offers 6-8 week courses each semester. Our 2025 summer courses are announced!
The Canopy Residency provides artists with a large private studio in the Chelsea Gallery District of New York City for 4 weeks to create a new body of work, host studio visits, immerse themselves in their practice, and take advantage of being in the heart of Chelsea! The Canopy Residency is offered in the Summer.

The Independent Study Program (ISP) provides artists with a 1-on-1 Zoom studio visit with a NYC Crit Club Faculty Advisor.

Since 2017 we have been honored to curate pop-up shows of NYC Crit Club artists and participate as Guest Jurors with affiliate programs and galleries. Additionally, every cohort in our year-long Canopy Program culminates in a group show at our Chelsea studio.
